Last updated: 14 July 2026

Shipping

Shipping arrangements are agreed separately for each order.

Depending on the transaction, delivery may be arranged by:

  • local delivery;
  • road transport;
  • sea freight;
  • air freight;
  • customer collection;
  • or another agreed method.

Shipping costs, delivery terms, insurance, documentation and customs responsibilities will be stated in the quotation, invoice or sales contract.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

International orders

For international orders, the customer may be responsible for:

  • import licences;
  • customs duties;
  • taxes;
  • inspections;
  • clearance charges;
  • destination storage;
  • demurrage;
  • detention;
  • and local delivery.

Responsibilities will depend on the agreed Incoterm and contract.

Inspection

Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery and report visible shortages, damage or incorrect products in writing.

Claims should include photographs, delivery documents, batch details and other supporting information.

Returns

Due to the nature of food commodities, returns are not accepted for:

  • change of mind;
  • market-price changes;
  • goods already opened;
  • repacked or processed goods;
  • goods stored incorrectly;
  • goods resold to another party.

A return may be considered where the goods materially differ from the confirmed order or agreed specification.

All returns require prior written approval.

Refunds and replacements

After inspection and acceptance of a valid claim, we may, at our discretion and subject to the sales agreement:

  • replace the affected goods;
  • issue a credit note;
  • refund the accepted amount;
  • or agree another commercial resolution.

Original shipping, customs and handling charges may be non-refundable unless the issue resulted directly from our confirmed error.
